A new business has opened in Oil City and we welcome them with open arms! Karma Coffee Co. officially opened its doors on Monday, May 2, 2016, at 10 a.m. The ribbon cutting went off without a hitch with owners Marie Cutchall and Shaun Alcorn cutting the big red ribbon!! On Friday, April 29, 2016, there was a walking tour on Northside that involved the existing parking ramp. The main topic of conversation was the razing of the parking ramp and the construction of the Transportation Hub on Elm and Seneca Street. This is a great collaborative project of many sources for our region! Tracy Truax, who is representing Michael Baker Construction was a key component of this walking tour. Also, local officials and several members of the planning team were on sight.

On Thursday, April 28, 2016, Mark Kerr of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission held one of many stocking events in Venango County. This particular event was on Oil Creek, commencing at Rynd Farm and ending at Drake Well.

District 64 tree at fundraiser at the Barrow Civic theater, and one for the Venango County Museum. We got an Honorable Mention for the trees. Next year, a ribbon!
